You would have to drill and tap the rammer housing, as the '05/'06 Ego QEVs are 6/32 threaded, while the Etek fittings are 10/32 threaded.
Presumably if you hunted around, there would be some 6/32 threaded banjo fittings available from one source or another.
If you were to take the 6/32 threaded banjo fitting route, you might find that the rate of fire took a bigger hit than when doing this modification to an Ego7 - for one thing you would be replacing two QEVs rather than one, and for another, air flow through the 6/32 barb would be more restricted.
