Google has open-source Ebooks!

I guess this just launched in Canada, but Google has a ebook store that is not dependent on buying a certain e-reader. I'm finally tempted to buy e-books. I still love the feel of a real book, though. I just need more bookshelves, and e-books don't take up much space.

Also - there are free copies of 'The Thirty-Nine Steps' a fantastic adventure novel from the first world war.
