While Im not really that excited about it as compared to the rest of the world (dont get me wrong Im still looking forward to it), news such as this may be bad news if it rings true. Probably wont though. Check it out for yourself.

hmmm I do like Microsoft but i dont like this move by id. Shure they will get a shit load of $ by doin it but i think they will lose alot of respect by the gaming comunity

Well, good grief. Them potentially buying out Vivendi was just as worrying to me (Valve, Blizzard, almost everything not owned by Activision, etc.). They're still in talks about that one (though, not likely gonna happen). However, they seem to be focusing on the music now (according to /.).
