URGENT URGENT: Possible Easter LAN
Hello all, this is a public service announcement to alert people to the fact that my house is currently empty of pretty much everything. Due to this, it would be very available for a LAN party. We have power, and tables can be found (or we could get the classic LAN Party wobbling wood tables). The best time would probably be the Easter weekend, as its longer and we'll only have the house till the end of April.
If there is any interest or questions, please respond or email or msn me, whatever. (angmar_king@hotmail.com)
Thanks, Angmar

about the 24
Is it on the long weekend, or the weekend of the 24th? Because they're different weekends. If it's the long weekend, I have this feeling that getting off work is going to be tough... If this has been covered in a different thread, just tell me where, i'll read it. thanks
Also, my estimate of 30 people was probably low... you could probably get 30 people on the main floor. (not that it'd matter, unless somehow people just started showing up like crazy)

Why would the long weekend be tough to get off? That should be the easiest to get off (legal holiday and all). The Summer Redneck Beatdown (ie. the 24 one) was covered, but Chris hasn't done much on this board.......and has pretty much left the planning up to Gray, Bob, and myself. We had planned (as of now) for the holiday. More details will follow. Leave message for complaints, suggestions, etc.

Getting off work on a weekend would be tough because:
a) weekend staff is primarily the part-time people, and there aren't too many of them
b) several of them, and various other employee will request the weekend off to engage in drinking, camping, and other dumb (compared to LAN party, but in general dumb too) activities.
c) i need the actual 24 weekend off anyway, and two in a row might be a bit much.
sufficient?
