government waste

well i always knew that there was a lot of government overspending but tonight kinda sinched it for me

i am typing from Krissi's work (my gf). She works for the city of windsor at a community centre. This computer does basic word processing, internet surfing and some accounting stuff. guess what it has?
Dual Xeon 2.8 ghz with 512 ddr.... ok so the ram isnt that impressive. But the dualy is huge over kill considdering most of the people (my gf excluded) cant even do basic designs in word.

Talk about a waste of money. That and the fact that I think its so fragmented that the thing grinds like mad. My guess is that it is bottle-necking at the hard drive.

The workers here complain that this computer is way to slow for them which leads me to believe that there is something seriously wrong with this terminal.
