Art of the Saber

Post by [Fallen]TSB »

found this on IFLIM
holy crap this was cool...

A light saber fight sequence with the flavor of a Hong Kong martial arts action movie. This short is set in a dense forest of an unknown planet, where a young Jedi, eager to fight to help the Revolution, clashes with a Sith Lord in a battle where only one will remain standing. Music by Hans Zimmer and a monologue extracted from an authentic Civil War love letter written in 1861, help to set the tone for this movie

I saw that one about four months ago. I'm hoping to make a Star Wars movie with action of that calibur (well, as close as I can get it with the people I can get). But yeah, I loved it.

That was awsome...although those guys didn't look much like jedi.

And the biggot in Homey J comes out. What? Got a thing against Asian jedi? The big white man afraid of the yellow fever sweeping the nation? You deny that there ever was an Asian piloting an A-wing on the 2nd Death Star attack? Bultar Swan was a graphical quirk in Attack of the Clones? Oh, just whip out your white teepee hat now, Homey J. We all know you keep it beside your bed. ;)

Though, I'm gonna pressume you meant the way they dressed :D

They kind of looked like matrix hopefuls, but without the cool flowing trenchcoats and leather.
