So after finally caving and buying a 9800 pro, I didn?t have much money left to burn on a fancy cooling system to OC the card, but I still had to see just how fast it would go. Enter the uber-cheap ass overclock:

Old Volcano P4 Heatsink from Fry?s $4.90
Pack of two 20ohm variable resistors $0.90
Time with hacksaw and beld sander to make heatsink fit FREE

I wonder how he got that big heatsink attached well enough so that it didn't want to fall off when the card was in the slot.

Most likely. I didnt write the clip, I just posted it via the ctrl+c, and ctrl+v functions of most OS'es.
