Its election time again

Post by [Fallen]Thanatos »

Well boy its that time again. Time to vote for your candidate for the Provincial Government.

Now im shure we can all vote and i am hopeing that you will all vote come October 2 for your favoret candidate.

I am Backing Ernie Eves and the PC Government, I will be voteing for Ernie Hardeman on October 2.

Matt R and i have been doing our best to help out with the campain this year by putting up signs all over Woodstock and Norwich area. (im shure that Kal Bob can understan what we are doin)(just its not coold this time)

Hope that you all reserch what your party is doing and vote for the one that you beleave will work the beast for you.
Please just dont vote on a party because there signs are bigger or that just because your parents are voteing that way, thats the way you will vote. This ia a big discion, about where Ontairo will head in the feuture and how it will affect our lives.

I hope that this advice will help you in your discion to vote come October 2.
Have fun and see ya at the polls.

I'm definitely doing some research, but I don't think that I'll be voting PC. Probably somebody else who doesn't make my tuition go up as much.

NO NO NO. Everyone should vote, even if it's for the Green Party. If you vote, then you have the right to b*tch about the government. If you don't vote, then you have to keep quiet.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Well I know i'll take some heat for this but what the hell eh? i've started to get active in the local pc party stuff (yeah for chatham-kent lol) but do you guys really think that a farmers union is nescessary or even helpful? i think its a horrid idea... also who really wants to fund more government spending and tax hikes which the liberals (i hate the liberal party) have been pushing for.... take the tax cuts that pc's are offering (ok ok i'm not that nieve to think that anyone is actually going ot LOWER taxes but i can hope right?)

Biggest load of shit ever. Regardless of whether i vote or not I have the right to bitch about what the government does. The government represents the people. I, being a member of said people, have the right to bitch about how they do their job. Whether or not you vote has nothing to do with it.

Bitch about the government if you do vote and bitch about them if you dont. You bitch at Mcdonalds if they fuck up your order, even if you dont work there or elect who makes your food. Same logic dictats that because the government is a public service (not directly but thats what it boils down to) you, as a member of the public, have the right to bitch about how their doing their job.

I disagree. Let's use the McDonald's analogy. If they got your order wrong, and you passed up an opportunity to get them to give you the right one - then you can't complain.
The same works with government. If someone you don't like is governing, but you didn't take the effort to cast a vote, whose fault is it?
And I know the riding system sucks, and all that other crap. But sometimes it does work, so WE SHOULD ALL VOTE.

That still doesnt change the fact that government represents the people. I am one of the people. Government serves me. I have the right to complain about how its doing its job.

By your logic, you can only complain about the person you voted for, not the government as a whole. If you voted for say ernie hardeman in your riding, by your logic, you can only complain about ernie hardeman since he is the one for whom you voted.
