Since Matt still cant seem to grasp the concept of the emoticons, I shall have to explain them for him.
An emoticon is used to illustrate a tone of voice. A sentence such as this one:
You suck.
Is very ambigious. However, if we add an emoticon, we can see that the sentence is now humourous.
You suck
Notice how the sentence is no longer offensive since the author was just joking around.
This has been ANOTHER lesson in the usage and understanding of emoticons. Tune in next week to find out what this emoticon means.

Nature is bountiful where idiots are concerned
No, they arent breasts, they're personalities, because its ok to like a girl for her personalities
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man

I think that the use of the words "ignorant and uninformed" makes it a lot harder to belive that you were kidding in your post Ghost, despite the use of an emoticon.
Also, I'm not really sure that the winking emoticon was the best one to use in this situation. Think of yourself saying those words, followed by a wink, does that really make sense?
On the other hand the fact that you used an emoticon at all should be a clear symbol that your response was not to be taken seriously.

Am I ever serious?
When have I in all seriousness walked up to someone and called them ignorant and uninformed? Why, of all people, would I do this to my friends?
While the winking emoticon may have not been the best used, it still was.
