Airbags! For your laptop?

Apparently IBM is installing air-bag like devices in their new thinkpads to protect them if they get smacked around too much. Sounds like a cool idea to me.

Sounds pretty good, it seems like somthing they would have implemented a long time ago.
Although I think it is kind of a stretch to compare a microchip which parks the HD read head - to an airbag.
