Abandoning the controls, I rush quickly to the navigation systems and attempt to help Rain repair them.

I'll sink a character point into getting these things back online.

Round 5

Bendox - You punch the throttle to full and tell Sparky to give you all the juice the ship can handle, he won't be out of range for long.

In order for the ship to fly "all out" you have to beat 13.
Your starfigher piloting is 6D
You roll a 17.

You are closing on him fast but he makes no move to slow down either

You are now at a range of 17 units.

Liox-Abandoning the controls you rush to the back of the ship

Rain - Liox arrives and you work together to fix the navigation

You each have to roll over 7 to fix a section of the wireing
Rain has a technical of 2D he rolls a 10
Liox uses a character point and which brings his technical to 3D+1, he rolls an 11.

You hastily patch the wires together, the repair seems to be working, for now

It will take 1 more round to fix the wireing. This repair is only temporary, and could fail, it will take several hours to properly repair the navigation systems.

As you tie the last wire strands together you hear the com crackle to life

"This is your last chance, stand down or be destroyed. You will be punished for your acts here today, no one fires on a Sigma fighter and gets away with it."

You look out the window. Bendox and the other Z-95 appear to be gone, it's just you and Z-95B, all alone, in the darkness.

Im punching it to get even closer, when i get to a range of 3 i will fire using 2 charictor points, to hit him.

Rushing to the com, Liox quickly hails the fighter and transmits the following,

Sigma fighter we are standing down. Are navigation systems are down and we are repairing them as we speak.

You are closing on him fast but he makes no move to slow down, the two of you are rapidly approaching the station which now looms large in the forward viewport.

You are now at a range of 9 units.

Rain - Liox runs to the cockpit and leaves you to complete the repairs yourself.

You have to roll over 7 to fix the final section of the wireing
You have a technical of 2D
You roll an 8

The naviagtion system hums back to life as the last connection is made.

Liox - The Z-95 responds to your message
"Good, the patrol craft will be here in moments, they will tractor you in and we can return to the station where you will...willl....What the Hell?"

The space around you is suddenly swarming with movement. Ships, hundreds of them - Fighters, freighters, patrol craft, customs vessels, even a few capitol ships, all speeding away from the station. Like ants from a rapidly flooding anthill they stream out of the stations, and each of them flying like death itself is on their heels.
A few of them are followed by pairs of Z-95's like the ones that approached you.

Close anuff

Im using 2 charitor points to hit him

so im using 2 charictor points in starship gunnery to hit him.

this time i had better do some good damage or atleast take down those damn shields.

Bendox - You focus your laser cannons and fire.

Your starship gunnery is 5D + the fire control of 3D + 2 Character points = 10D
The Z-95 decides to do a full dodge he rolls 22 +9 = 31
You roll 37
You hit him.

You roll 31 for damage.
He rolls 16 for hull.

The Z-95 tries to dodge out of the way but you score a direct hit in the back quarter. The ship is severly damaged, it's weapon systems are totally destroyed.

Rain - You look over the hyperdrive unit, this appears to be where the fire started, the damage is severe. It looks like it will probably take several hours to fix, and you will need some replacement parts.

Liox - The Z-95 hails you
"Stay right here, don't move. The patrol craft will be here soon to escort you to the station."
He takes off after one of the other ships.
You fire up the engines and fly the ship towards the station. Narrowly avoiding collision with several other ships, you finally pull up beside Bendox who is floating next to a disabled fighter just infront of the largest station.

The space around you is absolute chaos, there are ships everywhere and more are taking off all the time. Out of the corner of your eye you see a patrol ship with similar markings to the Z-95's, it turns towards you.

Over the com i try to contact Rain or Liox, ( Hay guys what took ya soo long?)

"looking over and seeing the craft with the similer marking on it I decide to scan it to try to figure out what type of weapions it has and what kind of ship it is.

Im telling sparky to disengage the hidden weapions and engage the sheilds.

I want to stay in-between this new ship and the one that Liox and Rain are on.

Looking at all the ships leaving the station i go over the com

"ummm guys....... maby theres something wrong with the station...... or ummm..... maby you guys could try to contact someone and ask what the hell is goin on. I will stay out here for assistance if we need it, Bendox out"

Bendox - Sparky activates the ray shielding and dissengages your extra laser cannons, they fold neatly into the belly of the ship. You fire up the sensors but there are so many ships out there that you can't get a clear reading. From the looks of it, the ship appears to be a GAT-12h, commonly known as a "Skipray". You can't get a clear reading on it's weapons or engines.

Liox - You hail the station, the man on the other end dosen't seem quite as composed as the last guy you talked to, his voice cracks slightly as he speaks.
"This is Sigma 5 docking control, until further notice all traffic into or out of the stations is restricted by order of superintendent Breen. Unless you have clearence to dock please reverse course and leave immediatly"

One of the ships flying by also responds
"Sorry buddy, I don't have time for this and I don't think you do either. There is a rumor going around that the Empire is comming here, and I for one don't want to stick around to see if it's true. I don't know it you've ever faced down one of those big Imperial ships but it's no picnic. You'd better hope that the force is with you today"

Rain - You look around the cockpit and your gaze is drawn to the station itself, the main docking bay appears directly infront of you, ships are streaming out of it even now.
