The article says that they played "Warriors of Freedom.'' I'm sure you've heard of it. Wait a minute........no, you haven't (at least, I hadn't). A guy submitted this bit of info to HardOCP:
I decided to look up “Warriors of Freedom”, and found it to be quite interesting. It’s a text based browser game, set up in a medieval era. It’s TURN BASED. Wow, if that’s what is causing kids to freak now, I think we are all in trouble. Last time I played a text based RPG, I had the option of going North, East, South, or to check the mail. These games are about as close to benign as possible.
Good grief! So all of us who played Zork are friggin' nuts?!? Wait 'til the media finds out about Quake and the rest of our FPS games.
