I have an idea for you Neb

You should setup your web cam to broadcast over the internet

set it up so we can log in and view the web cam via your web page

I was going to, but I can't find any free software that I really like or free web cam hosts or what not. if you find a good one, let me know.

If you remember me pumping that software that could stream DVD's across a network...
It also works for V4L devices, this is what controls webcams in Linux.

The VideoLAN software is portable to all platforms, so it might work in Win32. I am not sure if the V4L is the same in Windows though.

Post the name and model number of your webcam, I will tell you if it works in Linux.

first you have to sign up, then go to my page, then click webcams, then I have to have it online. I just woke up, but it's online now.
