On July the 2nd, after all the excitement of moving is over, and my Internet is up and running, I'm making the big switch to Debian Linux.

No Dual-Boot

No Windows Emulator

Depends what you use it for i guess. I just perfer debain because there is no hidden crap. You can change any setting you want. This does make it more difficult to do some simple things, but hey, i guess i am part masicist!

Neb, I just finished getting the ISO of the Debian disk that you will need. So you can get a copy beffore the big port over day.

Mandrake is easy to use and good for multimedia, Debian is for hard-core Linux junkies, or masochists, slackware is really fast (but horribly unstable [for linux that is]). There are so many different distros,and linux is so customisable you can use any of them for anything really.
