Has anyone ever addressed what happens to zombies in a frigid environment? ie. do they become frozen in the cold or doesn't it matter?

I highly doubt they wouldn't freeze. Most of Canada would be safe half of the year. It would almost be like the Frost Giants attacking Asgard when Odin sleeps. We repel them for 1/2 the year and then everything's all good. Baffin Island's population would explode

Yeah, like if they aren't magical zombies (the pedantic would insist on calling them "the infected") they're going to obey rules of biology and chemistry, etc. If they aren't feeding then they're going to run out of energy eventually. They'll need oxygen for what's left of their brain functioning and cell operation and if the physical systems that provide these things aren't working, then it's the end for zombie Shakespeare.

I'm definitely from the 28 days later school on this one...
