This is awesome! The video quality is great, and I don't think having your helmet in the shot really ruins it or anything.

Can't wait to see it in action on the field. Hopefully it's sturdy enough to take a few hits.

Good show Nate!

One guy's gun cam channel.

It's in a barrel of sorts he's mounted under his gun. He's also HD so don't forget to explore the zoom in option.

the Quality and how easy it is to use no modding. I felt it was worth it.

Help an old man out here.

Your camera is mounted on the left side of your helmet and you're shooting right-handed, correct?

Why is it mounted on the left side?

When shooting, what is your intended target? Ie. what do you want the audience to see? Is it what you see? Is it what the gun "sees?" Is it an overview of you?

You've got a few mounting options:

1. The way it was. On the high-right side seemed to work well last time.

2. On your gun. You've got the rails so mounting will be easy.

3. Top centre on top of your head. Either on the top of your head (ie. full head mask) or on the visor. A "balanced" view of what you see.

4. Shoulder cam. Would be easiest if you're using an "armor-style" vest like a moto-cross one. Just bolt it onto the shoulder pad.
ie. A "static" shoulder one would likely work best IMO.

the problem with where I had it is when I shoot my x7 I tend to put in directly in the path of the camera.

I plan on putting on top of head and try again.... I'll post video today.

What's Homey B's footage look like? I *think* he has the optics mounted dead centre. I've never seen any of his footage. At least, I don't think I have.
