I call bull$hit. Not that he necessarily got it at Wal-Mart; just how he nonchalantly picked it up off the cuff. I'm pretty sure that's a Title II weapon as it's over .50 and it's not classified as civilian by its inclusion in the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate with this blurb:

He definitely registered, awaited authorization, paid the taxation fee, and then arranged pickup. Knowing Mike, he probably brought that to the Wal-Mart just to make it look like he bought it there.

Still a pretty cool, modified Automag, though. If he could get it down to 300fps, as I imagine they fire far higher, it'd make a pretty cool marker.

There would be more to it than that (just in case anybody's thinking of getting one). That's the velocity for those FN 303 rounds. Tom Kaye helped design the gun and the tech from it would go into the First Strike paintballs from what little I know about it. The weight of the FN 303 rounds is 8.5 grams while paintballs are about 3.2 grams. The FN 303 are some sort of composite, also. They're not paint as this is a riot control gun. He'd have to do some major modding on the valve to get it field friendly. I can only imagine that:

a). cycling actual First Strikes in the FN 303 would turn it into a paint blender

b). the First Strikes, if they could fire, would be far and above chrono speed

c). the FN 303 uses compressed air and it's probably rated far above 4500 psi on the tank
