Would you need the adapter to fit it vertically like Tyler is planning? I can't find much information on how the system works.

Those little cylinders look really cool. Probably too small for my uses though. I tend to use a lot of paint and if this barrel is inacurrate then I'm going to make up for that with lots of paint.

So I had a chance to try it out with the mini barrel tonight. The 4oz tank Bob lent me unfortunately wasn't up to the task due to a blown burst disc.

The barrel is okay. Not as bad as I thought it would be really but I was left wanting for just a little more accuracy. Bob and I both shot at the kiln opposite the staging area and his Phenom produced a spread about the size of a pizza and mine about 2 times the size. In practice I found the accuracy a little inconsistant, usually when taking a few quick shots while moving they wouldn't quite go where I wanted.

On the upside the gun is now super loud, looks badass, and is very very compact. I really appreciated the size and weight when running around and I found myself able to move between cover while firing easier. I think the ideal barrel size for this project is going to end up being 4-6 inches. I'm just debating on wether to get a barrel extension or an entirely new 4-6" barrel.

Also on the vertical ASA: Since finding an ASA with a detent is proving to be a tough task I'm starting to think that my best bet is to get a co2 tank valve with an on/off valve instead of a pin valve. That way I can buy the Lapco vertical ASA and not worry about the lack of detent. This of course would make the gun only able to use on/off valve type co2 cylinders so I'm still debating it.

I saw a 12g adapter of this brand in a LAW rocket DIY project that did not have a nub to push in a pin. I know you're not too keen on the 12g, but I think that you're running low on options at this point... :D
