They switched sides, and yes, completed the capture to the other flag point in 38 seconds.

Well.....................dayum.

CTF review

Hide around your flag or along the border and try to intercept and catch any opposing players who sneak across if you are a defender.

Also, this was the first time we played where you weren't allowed to bring the enemy flag through your own spawn to get to the capture point. This means the flag carrier had to run through the middle of the map to cap the flag.

Well, one could always try changing the spawn points or going diagonal and stretching the field into Zone B.

[PX] Nebuchadnezzar wrote:It seems like the biggest issue is that with 6+ people on each team the CTF area is just too small. Jon and I were discussing expanding CTF to the "Zone B" area when we have large teams so I think we should give that a try before we change the mode.

I think it's fine I capped the flag in 38 seconds and only ever got shot at near the cap point..... That means big fail for Blue not even defending.

Also was pointed out that CTF on video games takes hours sometimes.....

Well most people only carry what is in their hopper with no ability to get more. If you go all the way back to the stagging area for paint then most places you go to your out for the round no coming back in.

With this being the case of most people only having what is in their hopper the games are made to be quick and fun. I would never play a long drawn out capture the flag game where I needed half a box of paint for 1 mode.... No Thanks.

Perfect just the way it is .... Be sure to yell out DEFENSE.......DEFENSE.

Don't allow me to just run up and grab it before you can defend.

We did play CTF on a very large field once...and it sucked. The game took like an hour and people did literally return to the staging area for extra paint and air at times. That's why we moved CTF to the Kiln yard in the first place.

Although moving into the B area might open things up a bit without making it too large. I still think we should give it a try.
