Sorry for any lag issues on the 24th.
I was working on the Tectonicus script and I got a little over ambitions.
I left three full renders running at the same time each one threaded to use all 8 CPU's in the system.
I then went to the Movies without checking the server load!
Anyway, just the main thread is running now, it is almost at 50% lol
This is all in anticipation of doing remote hosting of Techtonicus.
Stratus has offered to host, and I will be running a second host at my Tillsonburg site.
The map will be updated every three hours via rsync.
This should keep the network load to a minimum.
The big lag generator is zooming in on the map.
This is why off-site hosting should eliminate this problem.

Re: Lag issues on the 24th
lol, sorry mis-read that, it is just over 1/3 done and that is pushing almost 24hours!
Go Explorers.
Future renders will not take this long as it only renders the changed blocks.
As I said in my last post I am going to run the render every three hours to start with.
If the data sizes of the changed blocks is to high or people like it more I might drop it down to every hour.
