How to convert ringtones

So Mauveshadow got another phone on a family plan, and now I have this fiddly little phone for general use. Which is fine, but the ringtones all suck. What I want to do is convert old game midis to ringtone format, but there doesn't seem to be a good freeware solution. Tell me you wouldn't want to call me and know that I hear the Duke Nukem theme. Anyways, does anyone know of a good open-source or freeware converter that won't send texts to my phone or try to infect my compy?
