They are just going to destroy their own fan base, and it smacks of greed. All they care about is making another cash cow like WoW, and not making a good game, or pleasing their fans.

Yeah, but Blizzard has become an overbearing greedy clutch man over the past few years, not just now. Why do you think they never allowed you to run multiplayer games on something other than battle.net? Or that they sued a movie named "Diablo?" Or that they sued the kids who made an open source version of the Warcraft engine (yes, the original one)? They're b@stards and their recent actions were the reason I refused to buy WCIII or WoW--I vote with my dollars. They're idiocracy is only highlighted by the fact that Roper left because he felt the company was losing its artistic vision.

Well, at least they did the right thing. They say they've been working on it since 2003 so it actually might get out before the end of this decade, too

The gameplay movie looks pretty awesome. Though, the Protoss (so far) seemed to have reaped the most benefits. I wonder if that's because they felt they were underplayed in Korea. Dunno.

I'm really glad they decided to stick to the RTS as well. The gameplay vids and screenshots look awesome.

I just hope they actually release it before it becomes dated.

I just watched the video again last night and I have to agree that it seems like the Protoss got the most new cool stuff, but maybe they were just focusing on them for the demo.
