It's back!

After literally years of trying to remember this game I loved as a kid, today I found the jewel case:

Thanks to this I was able to download it. It doesn't hold quite the same charm as it used too, but the best part was always the side-by-side multi-play so we'll have to try that out at sometime.

If you want to experience the game for yourself it's available as a freeware/abandonware download (the music at the start sounded a little f'ed up on my PC but after that it played suprisingly well):

Since Apogee is very touchy about their games, this will unfortunately be the only Commander Keen game you'll get for free for a long time.

That sucks, I was hoping they might have the original Keen on there.

I remember the first time I played lemmings was on a CGA monitor...you've never really experienced it until you've played it in 16 colors

Bioware released MDK for this. I actually just saw that game at Wal-Mart for about $5 last week :lol:
