I don't understand why they make such a big deal out of this. Right now DRM works, mainly because of its limited use. If every thing was encoded with it, the decryption programs would be developed much faster.

Also, do you think that people will ever trust buying something that is intangible? I think that most people want the disk on their shelves, just in case.

Well, the reason people say that DRM doesn't "work" isn't on account of the process not actually performing. It has to do with it being proprietary. For example, Apple's downloaded music only works on Ipods so it's monopolistic. People aren't saying get rid of DRM (far from it)--they just want it on everything :lol:

I actually don't mind the royalty thing. Like the article says, I paid a tax on it--let me copy.

Besides, just buy south of the border, take off the wrapper, and say you had it when you went down. No more royalty fees

Bah, when I went border hopping with Homey B they only pulled us over because I bought fire water. We listed off the clothes and other schtick without incident. Soon as I said booze, "boom" we had to go in. All told, our wait times for there and back were a grand total of 20 minutes.

Not bad for what we saved
