New Years Lan

Post by Paragon »

I'm under the impression that there's going to be some kind of new year's LAN at the Gamer's Edge store this year. Apparently Edgy is going to make some kind of appearance, maybe coming down from his sign and lanning with us after we consume enough caffiene.
In the unlikely event that Kendall's Herculean efforts to open the store don't get the doors open by the new year, the LAN will be held at the farmhouse.

All hail Edgy!

Ok, I am not sure if I am going to be able to attend, but I would like to know some specifics if I could.

When is it, start-date/start-time - end-date/end-time.
Where is it, address.
What do we need to bring?
Projected sleeping arrangements?

thous sorts of things.

So Dempsey and I talked it over, and we think that people should come to the farmhouse first, and if Gamer's edge is far enough along, then we can carpool from there. People's stuff can be left here, and it's probably nicer to sleep here than in the store. Please come prepared for a typical LAN with your own comp and cables, just in case. The house will be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and you can stay Monday too.

Our address is 284593 Daniel Line, RR1 Mount Elgin.
Take the 401 towards woodstock, and if you're coming from London way, you'll hit highway 19 before (If you're coming from the other way, 19 is after Woodstock) Go south on 19, drive through Salford, and when you get to Mount Elgin, take a left on Mount Elgin Road. Drive past Duffy Line, and take your next right which is Zenda Line. Once you're on Zenda, take the first right onto Daniel Line, and the first house on the right is ours.
Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.

This is poor since I just built a brand new system, but I will not be attending the LAN. (pause to let tears subside) I know, I know, but that's just the way it has to be. I will be at next Year's, so all is not lost.
