Linux moving in?

Post by Tempus »

ok well I have noticed that a lot of my hardware is not supported in Linux
I dont want to proceed unless I can get this stuff to work. For example I notice that the P5WD2-P is not on any of the distro's supported list.
I am open to suggestions as to how to proceed. I use Suse at school but what would you guys suggest at home and on my laptop. Ideally I would like to have my wireless internet working on my laptop

anyways fire away
Gentlemen, we got 20 calls about the David Hyde-Pierce incident. And as you know, one call equals a billion people, which means 20 billion people were offended by this

Gentoo,
I am not firmiliar with the harware that you quoted, but if it is a Wireless card, there are wrapers that handle any card.

Give me a call and we can talk about it in more depth. We can also run a scan on your machine and look at the compatability for all of your hardware from linux's point of view
