To be fair, You'd like it if M$ came all over your face and slapped you...
From what I've seen of Vista they have yet to solve any of the problems that have arisen with windows. Too much Bulk, Over complication and inherent security flaws.

Nature is bountiful where idiots are concerned
No, they arent breasts, they're personalities, because its ok to like a girl for her personalities
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man

System running Vista
2400+
1Gig ram
Geforce 5200
80gig HDD
Alright soo far my Pros and Cons.
Pros
1) awesome interface and built in tools.
2) Great network diagnostics.
3) Change looks back to original windows look if you don't like all the fancy Vista.
4) Media Center built right into ultimate version
5) even though beta very stable.
6) Built in parental controls I was playing with it for awhile great for parents.
7) Because most people log in as admin great features still limiting admin account (Note you can turn this off which I did)
new media player actually helps look for missing codecs. I watched 15 videos that I knew use different sound and video codecs and found them all and helped me install them.
9) new IE has built in phishing protection and by default IE runs in protected mode which will not let anything be installed or downloaded in backgound.
Theres more I liked about it but i'm lazy and have a short memory
Cons
1) a bit too user friendly, personalization took away tabs and you have to select each setting.
2) it's still beta live with it.
For more about time with Vista Beta Toms has a great article they spent 500 hours with it. Includes screenshots.
Toms seems to be down right now i'll post link later.
Overall loved playing with Vista and look forword to seeing finished product.
Bash it all you want I will just tell you to F*** Off.

Nik installed Vista and said it froze after 24 hours had to reboot.
i've left it for 48 hours now and still running strong.
Windows explorer was bogging a bit but vista asked me if I wanted to restart the program I said yes and vista ran as if I rebooted really really smooth again.
My guess is I don't have a recommended 2 gig ram

I wont use vista I dont think ever.
I think that will be the final draw to linux for me. By the time everything switches to vista I will be fed up enough with windows to cross over
*shudders* i loathe microsoft for just about everything. I dont like much about them

Gentlemen, we got 20 calls about the David Hyde-Pierce incident. And as you know, one call equals a billion people, which means 20 billion people were offended by this
