I read in the paper today that Apple will indeed phase out it's current architecture in favour of Intel's. Rather shocking if you ask me. Especially what with the Cell chips becoming popular and already being produced by Apple's partner IBM.

Switching to Intel because there's "less heat generated per watt?" Apparently, AMD doesn't exist in Jobs' world.
