Shocking Morning

So this morning at about 6:00AM we were awoken by the doorbell ringing

Jon answered the door to find our neighbors claiming our house is probably flooding in the basement.

we went outside and saw lots and lots of water outside our door.

I took acouple quick pics.

yah so I wake at 6am (went to bed at 3am) someone is hitting my door and am told "your place might be flooded" and I am like :shock:

and I run downstairs to check on my drums and there is water in my bass drum so I am not sure how it will dry ... and there are like 10 of my box's full of stuff like books and other things (most of them are screwed by the way)

and then I find out thumps car is under water ....

messed day... messed day...

I need some sleep

Some good things:

You switched out the Sunfire for the Grand AM. (Which was $400)
You live within walking distance of work.
Gray now has a valid excuse for getting rid of some of his less useful possesions

Some bad things:

The DRUMS!
My Couch!
not really upset at the couch, but there was alot of stuff down there that's probably quite fucked right now.

It was crazy - I came to pick up Nate and Grey, and they had the street blocked off and there were at least ten guys watching another three guys work.

On a related note, someone should make a cement saw mod for DOOM or Quake 4.
