Sounds like someone is trying to avoid a lawsuit. On a side note, if i release a root kit then publish a web page that says it is not dangerous, am i safe from prosecution ? lol

The Sony exec is p!ssed that people are calling the "DRM kit" malware, spyware, or rootkit. He's even arrogant enough to go on and say:

"Most people, I think, don't even know what a rootkit is, so why should they care about it," he asked? "The software is designed to protect our CDs from unauthorized copying, ripping."

If they don't lose these lawsuits........it'll be a sad day.
