Drive Problem

Some of you may have noticed the downtime that the server as been experiencing over the last few days. This is related to fact that an error seams to have developed on the hard disk.

I had hoped that this error was the result of a heat/drive cable problem. Sadly this was not the case. I am now forced to repair the problem in a way that I had hoped to avoid.

I am going to install a new Linux distro on a new hd and transfer the data from the existing server to the new server. This should be a seamless transfer resulting in only a few moments of downtime, if all goes well.

I will attempt to maintain SSH login passwords.
