This site is awesome.
I'm pretty impressed with their analysis of the various possible methods, while the site doesn't list all the possible ways to destroy the earth, it does give a good overview.
The options which they seem to have rated the best are:
Eaten by von Neumann machines
and
Hurled into the Sun / Torn apart by Jupiter
As a side note it also lead me to this interesting article discussing the existance of "zero-point" energy.
