Mission 1 Gameplay

I am going to cross the street and enter the alley one down from the one directly across from my current position. Once there I will continue through that set of allies to the Bar.

I will check Ka to make sure he is still patched up ok then I will sit and wait till the real medics get there.. then I will go with him

[Queen Zeus]

Talking out load by not to anyone in particular "Where has my bodyguard gone of to?”

I yell after the pirate.

"Good to see your a man of your word"

I give my ship a once over to make sure it's locked down, and then head over to the fighter to check it out. I"ll also make sure that it's secure, and then fire up my comlik to contact Kylin.

"What's the mission status"

- Nagta - Not about to let something slip by when you are in hostile territory, you continue to scan the area where the movement came from. You mention the movement to Camon and Kylin, while watching for any more signs of activity. Your search, however, reveals nothing more than you saw a moment ago. Whatever it was has moved away from the edge of the building that is nearest you. As you cross the street with Kylin and Camon, you see the thing again, but in better detail. It is definately humanoid, and it is holding a weapon.

- Cale - You provide Hilanna with some information that may prove useful to her well-being,

I think I saw a ship like you described. Doesn't matter, though. There are stormtroopers all over the spaceport looking for you. They stopped me when I came out, showed me a picture of you.

She takes it in and visibly ponders what you have said, but you add more,

I figure I've done all I can for you, as a fellow decent human being. Anybody the Imperials are looking for is a potential friend of mine. I have some business to take care of now. Good luck.

After taking a few steps you turn back to her,

Unless you'd like some help, of course, and can make it worth my while.

With this, she takes another moment to ponder the situation. The most likely thought on her mind as far as you can tell seems to be what is worth your while? She then comes out and says it,

What is it that you want that might make helping me be worth your while?

You are able to pick up from the tone of her voice that she has made some choice in her past that committed her to something she regrets.

- Kylin - You cross the street with Camon and Nagta, but as you do, Nagta informs you of some movement that he saw on top of the building you just passed. You continue on into the alley across the street, staying away from prying eyes. As you walk, Ilon's voice comes over the com,

What's the mission status?

- Rava - Sitting beside Ka, you check him out to make sure that he is ok. The emotions continue to bubble to the surface. You find that they are beginning to hinder your concentration on the moment, and are causing you to think about your past. The medic speeder arrives and several people emerge from the back. Assessing the situation, they see that Ka is the only injured one still alive. They get him onto a stretcher and load him into the back of the speeder, and you get in with him. While this is happening you hear Athena asking about Nagta.

- Athena - As you stand there in the middle of tha landing platform you look around and notice that Nagta has completely disappeared. Without anyone in particular in mind, you speak,

Where has my bodyguard gone of to?

- Ilon - You call out as the Pirate leaves the landing platform with the others,

Good to see your a man of your word.

With that you carry on with the lockdown of the Firespray. Once completed you move on to the Dianoga. The ship is thirty years old, about the same as yours, and the pilot has kept it in fairly good condition. The outside is generally paint-covered, and there is little rust from exposure to atmosphere.
You finally set the lockdown on the fighter and then call Kylin,

What's the mission status?

- Garmen - You walk through the main entrance of the spaceport, only to find yourself surrounded by stormtroopers. One of them stops you and holds a picture in your face. The picture is of an attractive woman with green eyes and red hair. They ask if you've seen her.

- Ka - You stand on the edge of the clearing, watching the figure of Rava. He stands there motionless. You can feel the emotions raging in the area, as though the entire clearing is permeated with them.

- Camon - You continue to walk with Kylin and Nagta, when Nagta informs you that he has seen motion on the building across the street.

"I hate snipers. Quickly, everyone into the ally, we will have to go around this building now"

I am going to incress my speed slightly as to enter the ally sooner. I am not going to braek into a ran as that would draw atention.

Once we are in the ally, and out of view of our roof top firend, I will respond to Ilon.
"Things are going well for the moment. There is a Roof top guard in the street, be careful. I have Camon & Nagta with me. What is your status now?"

[Tempus]

i'm going to look for cover but try not to make it too obvious.
I will also quicken my pace to try and get to the alley.
I will also try and ready myself to throw a knife if needed

I am going to push past the emotions, and try to get a message through to Rava. If possible I will tell him that I am fine, to get me to the medical bay, and find and capture the beast responsible for my current condition

I feel out with the force to try and figure out what is making me all messed up

I am going to cross the platform and join Ilon. I will ask him if he knows how the mission is progressing. I will also follow him if he leaves the space port to join the others.

I glance at the picture and mutter
"Never Seen Her..."
And attempt to push on.

I look at her for a moment, then look away.

Right now I have pressing business at the Fried Mynock Cantina. You can come along, and explain to me exactly what it is you need. That's my only, and final, offer.

I start walking, trying to find my way to the Fried Mynock using back alleys instead of the main road.

- Kylin - Having received the warning from Nagta, you decide that your plan to take back alleys where possible was indeed a good one,

You pick up your speed slightly, but not enough to arouse suspicion, and move to get deep enough into the alley that it will afford you some cover from fire from across the road. You contact Ilon now that you are satisfied that you are out of sight,

- Nagta - Your search for cover reveals that the only thing within reasonable distance is the alley into which you are already headed. There are a few crates that look like they could stand up to small arms fire, but nothing else. You speed up a little and head into the alley with Kylin and Camon. As you walk your hand goes to the bandoleer across your chest, and you remove a throwing knife from it's sheath. You gage the distance to the sniper: although they could get you with little difficulty with a rifle should you present yourself as a target, your knife has no chance of reaching them from where you are.

- Ka - You reach out with the force, trying to communicate with Rava. Pushing past the emotions takes some effort, but you are able to reach something more calm. The calmness, however, is not coming from the Rava that stands before you, but seems much closer than the rage you feel from the moonlit figure. You send a message, you think, but never having been in this sort of situation, you aren't exactly sure if it will work. Regardless, the figure of Rava speaks: the voice is different, raspy, and deeper than usual,

Ka, I sense potential in you. What is it that you desire?

- Rava - You reach out with the force, seeking knowledge of what it is that has brought on these emotions, and the wisdom to subdue it. You still feel Ka very close, and not as usual. You suddenly get an image of peace through the whirlwind of dark images that swarm your mind. It is an image of Ka in a hospital, but uninjured, as though he is ok. A second image enters your thoughts; Nagta in chains with you pulling him along. You continue to try to understand what is happening. All of the images that you have seen have been from your memory, not from an external source, and they started almost immediately after reviving Ka, when you called upon the force to bring him from the brink of death. It may be possible that you have established some sort of telepathic link, and that he has unknowingly touched something in your mind that was long burried, almost forgotten.

- Athena - You cross the platform and join Ilon. He is on the comlink right now, speaking to Kylin. You take the opportunity to ask how the mission is progressing and then listen for a moment as Kylin's voice comes through,

Things are going well for the moment. There is a Roof top guard in the street, be careful. I have Camon & Nagta with me. What is your status now?

That answers your earlier question about where Nagta might be. Ilon is still sort of interested in his new toy, and inspects it while on the com.

- Garmen - Your quick answer of,

Never Seen Her...

is all the stormtroopers really need at the moment, since they have been tasked with the job of asking everyone going in or out of the spaceport if they have seen her. They let you pass without any more trouble as the people who had been held in and out with the lockdown continue to make their way through the doors. You press on into the street and head directly toward the Fried Mynock.

- Cale - After glancing at Hilanna for a moment you turn away,

Right now I have pressing business at the Fried Mynock Cantina. You can come along, and explain to me exactly what it is you need. That's my only, and final, offer.

You begin walking, not looking back. You look around to see if you can get to the Fried Mynock using the back alleys, and get close to the end of the building before hearing the sudden sound of quick footsteps behind you. Hilanna has apparently decided to accept your offer. She catches up to you and begins to talk,

Firstly, I need some way to meet some specific people representing the Alliance, who have some friends here. That's the most important, and it could mean their survival. Secondly, I need a way into Alliance space so that I can get some sensitive information to Alliance command. I can offer you 2500 credits, but that's about it, since most of my resources have recently been stripped from me.

- Ilon - You continue to inspect the Dianoga, even after putting it under lockdown. While you do this you are listening for Kylin's response to your question. Athena approaches and asks you the same question that you just asked Kylin, and is close enough to hear his answer,

Things are going well for the moment. There is a Roof top guard in the street, be careful. I have Camon & Nagta with me. What is your status now?

You rub your finger over a slight spot of rust on the ship, still checking the value of your investment.

- Camon - You move with Kylin and Nagta, staying in the shadows and moving through the alleys. Kylin is speaking to Ilon on the com, and Nagta is watching your back. You keep an eye ahead of you.

I continue to move towards the bar and hum quietly to myself and think of what to do next.
