Mission 1 Gameplay

I will pull out my sporting blaster, but try to keep it as hidden as possible. I will start walking towards the woman, adjusting my stride so that our paths will intersect in front of the alley. Assuming the figure hasn't shot her by that point, I will yank her forcibly into the alley, out of view of the possible assassin, then hold her at blaster-point and demand she identify herself, tell me why someone might be trying to kill her, etc.

I pick up my saber and feel a sense of fleeting relief as I realise this is only my saber in this imaginary world. All I can think of for the moment is the real world and my hope that Nagta has been captured, and my real saber recovered. I then continue to head towards the source of the voice calling my name.

I will wait for Nagata to reach me. When he does I will say the following:
I will then turn an continue along towards the bar in question.
Had a little excitement I hear. Saved some of that energy for later I hope. I some how doubt that this leg of the trip will be as uneventful as expected.
I will then turn an continue along towards the bar in question.

- Garmen - Now that the guards have been removed from your path you take a moment to collect yourself. Satisfied that you no longer have to worry about unwanted physical contact, and that you can get on with your objective, you head out of the ship. Ilon speaks as you step over the body of the annoying guard, asking for help to remove the bodies from the ship so he can lock it down. Athena speaks as well, mentioning that she would like to get on with the mission.
- Nagta - Immediately after catching up to Kylin, he speaks to you,
As you, Camon, and Kylin walk down the alley you stay alert, looking for anything that might pose a threat. You pass a crossroad and continue down the alley along the main drag. The alley is pretty narrow, and your field of view is somewhat limited. You can, however, make out the shapes of several warm-blooded rodents scurrying away from the sound of your footsteps. You continue to ignore Camon, although he doesn't seem to be asking any more questions at the moment.
- Ilon - You look at the mess: two bodies; one sprawled out on the floor, and the other half on and half off the loading ramp. The sight prompts a mutter of regret, but what's done is done. You see Garmen walk out of the ship and you ask anyone who cares to listen if they will help you with the bodies. Athena wants to get on with the mission, and asks you if you will accompany her to the cantina. You and Rava drag the corpses out of the ship, then Rava returns to Ka to wait for the medics. He tells everyone to carry on without him, as he must stay with Ka.
- Rava - You help Ilon remove the bodies from the ship when he asks for help, and as you do, Athena asks Ilon if he will go to the bar with her to finish the mission. When the bodies are placed on the platform near Ka, you check them out.
Searching the lead guard you find: A comlink, his blaster (still in his dead hand), and 30 credits.
Searching the second guard you find: A comlink, and 12 credits. His blaster is on the landing platform near the boarding ramp.
The third dead guard has a comlink and a blaster, but was broke.
You stay with Ka, telling everyone to carry out the mission without you, because you must go with Ka.
- Cale - You walk toward the woman, pulling out your sporting blaster as you go. You walk just fast enough to pass her as you reach the alley, and then give her a quick yank on the arm to pull her into the alley with you, and out of sight of the gunman. Once in the alley, you hold your gun where she can see that she doesn't have much of a choice other than complete cooperation, and you demand that she identify herself. She is obviously not pleased about being held at gunpoint, but the fact that you haven't killed her yet, and the question you asked, gives her some visible measure of reassurance that you are not planning on killing her. She answers,
- Ka - After picking up the saber and thinking about your separation from reality, you move toward the sound of the voice. You pass through the forest and pick your way through the branches that partially block your path. After a moment of this, you enter a moonlit clearing. The figure of Rava is standing in the clearing, and you can see his face. There is something odd about it; it looks older somehow. Then as you look closer, you notice that his eyes just don't look right.
- Kylin - After realizing that Nagta has caught up to you, you speak to him,
You, Nagta, and Camon all continue to the Fried Mynock. You pass a crossroad and re-enter the alleyway behind the alley, and past a large building on your right, opposite 3 smaller buildings.
- Athena - Ilon asks for help moving the bodies, and Rava gets right on it. Trying to come to terms with what just happened, you comment,
After that, you speak to Ilon, who is busily moving the bodies out of the ship with Rava's help. ou ask him if he will accompany you to the Cantina. Rava checks the corpses for anything useful, and then waits with Ka, informing everyone that he will be remaining with him, but everyone else should go on with the mission.
- Camon - You, Nagta, and Kylin move through the alley, and pass a crossroads before entering the dark alley on the other side that parallels the main road. Nagta ignores your questions, and you simply continue on with them.

My name's Hilanna, and I've made the wrong people mad. It's probably better for you if you don't know the specifics, but the Empire is involved, as are the Hutts. Now a certain ship has arrived at the spaceport, and I have to speak to the crew about something urgent. A young woman's life is in danger. But you said my life is in danger, so I assume that you have some information about my current situation that I don't.

Well that was strange, I think we had best get on with our mission. That was far to close.

Until you find something worth dying for, you're not really living.
I speak to the woman, keeping my blaster aimed at her.
I will check to see if she looks like the woman the stormtroopers are looking for. There is someone on the roof across the street, who looked like he was about to shoot you. I'm assuming you would rather avoid that. The spaceport is locked down, so you might want to find a place to stay low for a bit. Now pull back your hood so I can get a good look at you.

Gentlemen, we got 20 calls about the David Hyde-Pierce incident. And as you know, one call equals a billion people, which means 20 billion people were offended by this

I happily stroll my way over the corpses and out of the hanger bay towards the bar where my little slicer-wanna-be attempted to match my skills. Unknowingly I begin to whistle a little bit as I walk.

- Cale - You speak to the woman, who has identified herself as Hilanna, keeping your weapon trained on her,
She responds by hesitantly pulling back the hood on her cloak, revealing that she is in fact the woman the stormtroopers are looking for. She speaks,
- Nagta - Continuing on your way, you scan the area visually, looking for any signs of suspicious activity. You are in an open area now, and there is no longer an alley to follow parallel to the main road. Most of the area is devoid of any movement, but as you continue on your way, you spot a hint of something on the roof of the building you just passed, but only for an instant. You got enough of a glimpse at it to know that it's humanoid.
- Garmen - You walk away from the ship, and the the corpses, passing through the door that leads into the spaceport. You pass some people near a vending machine and continue through the building until you come to the main lift. You enter and begin your descent to the main floor of the spaceport. After a quick ride down the door opens revealing a lot of people packed into the lobby around the main entrance, and there are armoured shutters down over the windows. The place looks like it's locked down. The stormtroopers are speaking to someone at the security desk and apparently want the lockdown stopped, because the officer at the desk puts in the code and unlocks the doors.
- Kylin - You continue to walk quietly toward the bar. You've entered an open area, and it seems that unless you want to take a more roundabout way, you will have to follow the main street for the rest of the walk. The place seems dead quiet, and there is little movement on the street.
- Athena - You ask Ilon if he needs any help locking down the ship, but at the moment he continues with his task, which is over quickly. The ship is locked down. One of the pirates approaches the two of you and speaks to Ilon,
He hands Ilon a data chit, and walks away, the rest of the pirates in tow.
- Ka - You move toward the shadowy figure of Rava, trying to feel for Rava's presence in the real world through the one standing before you. There is a connection; you can feel it. You know that you have touched Rava, but you cannot get a coherent message through the connection that you've made. You can feel something, as though you've reached the deapest part of Rava's mind, something locked away. The feeling is intense, something you would not have expected of Rava: hate, anger, regret. But the mind is a mysterious thing, as is the force, and you cannot be sure if this is a current emotion that Rava is guarding against, or if it is something else.
- Rava - You stay with Ka, waiting for the medics to arrive. You can feel something, but it's almost inperceptable. It's as though you are sharing a part of yourself with someone, but have no control over it. You can sense that it's through the force, but the connection is deeper than anything you've ever felt. For some unknown reason, memories begin to well up, and emotions are tied to those memories. Things that you thought to be long burried are coming to the surface. You feel a presence, the same feeling that you get when you are near Ka, but this time it is stronger than ever, like there is little to no separation between Ka, and the force. You hear the sirens of the medic speeder, and see it as it comes in from a distance. It will be here in just a moment.
- Ilon - You get to work on locking down the ship. Athena asks if you can use any help, but this task that you have done countless times before is almost a ritual, and you are done in a matter of moments. When you have finished, the pirate liutenant approaches you,
He hands you a data chit with the codes and registration information of the ship, then walks away with the other pirates in tow.
- Camon - You continue to walk with Nagta and Kylin, but must now either follow the main road, or go to the back of the building in front of you to follow a different path to the cantina. The way is quiet, and there is little movement.

She responds by hesitantly pulling back the hood on her cloak, revealing that she is in fact the woman the stormtroopers are looking for. She speaks,
I've been laying low for the past week. It wouldn't be so urgent that I get to the spaceport right away if I knew who I was supposed to talk to, but I only know their ship's ID and configuration. I was trying to find out more about them when someone started to trace my signal and I had to stop. You said the spaceport is locked down, were you just there? Did you see a ship that looked like an oval with wings?
- Nagta - Continuing on your way, you scan the area visually, looking for any signs of suspicious activity. I'm going to focus my attention in the area around where I saw something suspicious i will mention the figure to my companions as a warning

I pause, and look at her.I think I saw a ship like you described. Doesn't matter, though. There are stormtroopers all over the spaceport looking for you. They stopped me when I came out, showed me a picture of you.
I start to head further down the alley, to take a back route to the cantina, then pause and turn around.I figure I've done all I can for you, as a fellow decent human being. Anybody the Imperials are looking for is a potential friend of mine. I have some business to take care of now. Good luck.
I wait for a response.Unless you'd like some help, of course, and can make it worth my while.
