Character Creation

Building a character in the World of Darkness is easy, just follow these steps.

1. Concept, Virtue and Vice
Come up with a concept for you character, a few words that sum up your character. Second, select one one Virtue and one vice for your character from the list that fits your character.

2. Attributes

There are 9 attributes broken into 3 categories, the categories are Physical, Social, and Mental. Attributes related to Physical are Strength, Dexterity and Stamina. Socials are Presence, Manipulation and Composure. Mental are Intellegence, Wits and Resolve. All Atributes start at 1 before you start, First you take the 3 categories (Physical, Social, Mental) and Proritize them for your character into primary, secondary and weakest. Your primary category gets 5 points to add to its attributes, while Secondary gets 4 and you weakest gets 3.




3. Skills

Skills are done kinda like Attributes there are 24 skills broken into the same 3 categories, however all skills start at 0 before points are added. Also your points for prority are as follows 11/9/5.

4. Merits

After all this is done you get 7 Merit points, these points are used to give variety for your character. You can use these points for 3 things first you can buy Attributes at the cost of 5 merit points each, Second you can buy Skills at a cost of 2 merit points. Finally you can use Merit points to buy Merits, see list of Merits.

5. Morality

Morality of all characters start at 7
