I stop staring blankly at a spot on the wall and shake my head for a moment as the realization of what happened in the last few minuites begins to sink in.

Hearing Kylin's message I activate my com, turning my body and lowering my voice so the guards can't hear.
"Some of the local guards seem to have taken an interest in his handy work...we've got a bit of a situation developing here. If you could provide some kind of distraction to get these guys off my back I would really appreciate it."

I turn back towards the guards...
"Gentlemen, there's no need to get worked up. This is all just a big misunderstanding...and I'm sure once you let me explain, it will all make sense."

- Cale - As you make your way down the main road you notice that the shadowy figure far ahead of you is moving in your direction, apparently toward the space port, and at a hurried pace. The person is wearing a cape or a cloak of some kind, which you can see is billowing behind them, explaining the unusual silhouette. As your vision pans the area ahead of you, you catch a glimmer of light reflected off something in the shadows on top of one of the lower buildings. You can't see anything up there, and it may have just been the gleam from the eye of some nocturnal animal. You continue to walk.

- Nagta - The trooper's apparent underestimation of your intelligence may work in your favour. Playing along with it you look at the picture, quickly spot someone nearby, and blurt out the most unintelligent thing you can think of that still applies to the situation,

me no knows dis won. She to ugly. Maybe is his mate.

You point to a woman who is being interrogated by the troopers. The one questioning you looks at her, and then back at you,

You really are that stupid! Get out of here scum!

You move away quickly, and as you do you hear the trooper speaking to another,

I can't believe that these aliens are too stupid to know when they're being insulted, but it's true. I was hoping for some hazard pay by having to "arrest" one of those brutes, but it's hard to provoke them when they're that stupid, and the commander won't let us shoot first.

Another trooper answers him,

You know that Director Vissek wants us to keep on good terms with the local alien population.

You get too far away to hear any more, but the troopers notice the lockdown and begin to focus on their jobs. You continue on your way to the Fried Mynock, leaving Camon behind.

- Garmen - Immediately feeling discomfort at this unwanted touch, your face begins to redden, and your breathing gets deeper and more menacing. You speak quietly, but forcefully; every word coming out in steady, but paced succession,

Let. Go. Of. My. Arm.

Your hand moves slowly toward your blaster, and somehow the security guard doesn't notice, his gaze fixed on your penetrating glare. You feel the handle of your blaster with your fingertips, and your hand closes around the grip. The guard speaks, in an agitated, but not intimidated voice,

I'll let go when you cooperate. Get back over there.

He points back to where you were sitting near Ilon.
Ilon pipes up and tells the guards to cool their jets and let him explain what happened. The guard does not relax his grip, but his attention has moved to Ilon.

- Camon - After thanking the guard for thie information you begin to head toward the Fried Mynock, when something clicks and you decide to see if there are any leads on the woman's whereabouts. Turning back to the guard you ask one more question,

hey....... Would you happen to know the direction that she's heading?

The guard doesn't seem evasive with this question, and is willing to answer.

She supposedly has a safehouse somewhere in this city, and since this is the only space port in the city we're starting our search here and moving outward toward the edge of the city.

Now that you have your answer, you notice Nagta making his way off toward the Fried Mynock. You notice that the space port is going into lockdown mode, meaning that there must be trouble inside, and it could get pretty hot out here.

- Ilon - Clearing your head after the shock of the last few minutes you quickly answer your com, and try to stifle the sound so that the guards don't hear. You answer Kylin's request for information about Nagta,

Having finished with com, you turn your attention to the guards. Garmen is looking threateningly, and sounds very angry at the guard, who is holding his arm. You notice that Garmen's hand has reached his blaster. Taking the opportunity to try and calm things down a bit you speak to the guards in the non-chalant way that scoundrels and diplomats are famous for,

Gentlemen, there's no need to get worked up. This is all just a big misunderstanding...and I'm sure once you let me explain, it will all make sense.

The guards' attention is on you.

- Athena - You continue to stand away from the main group, observing. You notice Garmen's hand inching closer to his gun, and the guard's refusal to let go of his arm. Ilon turns to the guards and tries to calm things down a bit.

- Kylin - Continuing to remain hidden from the troopers you hear Ilon's reply about Nagta,

You see the lockdown in progress and the stormtroopers outside looking at the building to see what exactly is going on.

- Ka - You stand there on one side of the bridge, looking at the figure of Rava standing in the moonlight in the forest on the other side. You see a glint of metal on the ground near the bridge on the other side of the chasm.

- Rava - You stay where you are, watching as Garmen gets obviously agitated. You hear the quiet force in his voice, and know that he is dead serious about not wanting the guard's hand on his arm, but you have no idea what he will do next. Ilon tries to calm things down by offering to explain the situation to the guards.

The next post will be Friday, April 8. Lots of papers due this week.

i am going to continue to try to catch up to Kylin.
I will make an active effort to search the area while i continue my brisk walk. I want to be alert and not caught off guard.
I will make note of anything (movement or otherwise) that may catch my attention even for the slightest minute

I notice that Nagta has started to walk towards the Fried Mynock. I turn away from that imperials and start to jog towards Nagta. I yell the him

Hey wait up

After I catch up to him, I continue to small talk with Nagta about the women in the picture to see if he mas any information about her and if he has seen her.

I ask him questions like:

Do you know who that women is?
Have you seen her anywhere before?

basically I am just rooting for information about the girl
I wait for a reply.......

I think in my head she has got to be somewhere close.......... I can feel it in my bones............. maybe the imperials are locking down the space port because of her....... I don't know, but I have to find her..............

I am going to stop and lean against a wall someplace, trying to make it look plausible based on what is nearby (perhaps examine a crate, that sort of thing). I will keep an eye on both the area I saw the flash from, and the shadowy figure coming towards me. I will be especially wary, in case either one turns out to be a danger.

- Nagta - You move farther down the street, and watch the area intently, making sure that there are no surprizes. As you pass an alley, you see Kylin making his way toward the cantina. You move to catch up to him. You don't see much movement around you, other than the few people that were on the main street before you ducked into the alley. You hear Camon calling out and running up behind you, but you ignore him. When he does catch up to you, he begins to ask you questions about the woman in the picture: if you've seen her, or if you know who she is.

- Rava - You stay quiet, observing the guards as you wait for Ilon to explain the situation to them, but before he can begin, Athena steps in and tries to reason with the guards. Garmen, getting very agitated, orders the guard to let go of his arm. The guard hesitates for a second, then does, but positions himself between Garmen and the exit with his gun pointed at Garmen. Athena's attempts at negotiations go on for several minutes, and she seems to be making some headway with the chief security guard.

Without any warning, half a dozen stormtroopers approach the ship. One of them speaks,

You're under arrest for treason against the Empire.

The funny thing is, he's not speaking to anyone in your group. He's speaking to the chief of security.

Chief Varros, you and your entire squad have been found guilty of sedition, and must face sentencing.

With that the Troopers open fire. The local security force is totally outclassed by the battle hardened stormtroopers, and the four men are gunned down in the first volley, 3 of them are dead, and one is badly injured. The troopers leave the carcasses, and take the wounded man away. The head trooper speaks to your group,

You can go about your business. Sorry for the mess, but there can be no mercy for rebel sympathizers.

You had no time to react to the troopers actions before their targets were neutralized.

- Garmen - The social anxiety is welling up inside of you, and in a voice of great agitation and anger, you tell the man to let go of your arm. After a fraction of a second of hesitation, he does, but he positions himself between you and the ramp, not allowing you to pass. Athena is trying to reason with the security chief, and this goes on for several minutes. You then see 6 stormtroopers march past one of the fighters and the pirates beyond the exit. The leader speaks,

You're under arrest for treason against the Empire. Chief Varros, you and your entire squad have been found guilty of sedition, and must face sentencing.

He wasn't talking to you, or your companions, but he and the other 5 troopers open fire on the local security squad, gunning them down in a single volley, as they had been caught totally off-guard. The man who had grabbed your arm is now just a twitching corpse on the floor. The troopers drag away the one guard who is still, just barely, alive. The leader apologizes for the mess, and makes a comment about no sympathy for the rebels. Then he too walks away.

- Camon - Spotting Nagta up ahead, you follow him at a jogging pace, and when you catch up to him, you begin to ask questions about the woman. He ignores you completely. You and he have now caught up to Kylin, and you all make your way to the Fried Mynock Cantina together. It seems there is little hope of getting any information from anyone in your party.

- Cale - As you pass an electronics store that is closed for the night, you begin to look as though you are reading prices on items inside the window, when you are in fact keeping tabs on the shadowy figure, who is moving toward you, as well as the place on the roof, where you think you saw movement. The figure moving toward you grows more distinct every moment. It is definately a woman, you can tell by the gait, but you still can't make out specifics. The figure is now about 50 meters away. As for the area on the roof, you are lucky, and a passing speeder's running lights illuminate the area long enough to get a clear view of the spot your watching. There is a large, armour-wearing figure standing on the roof, and it is holding a long object, a rifle. Given the position, and the armament of the alien figure, it is one of three things: psychotic, a bounty-hunter, or an assassin. The figure is aiming at the person down the street.

- Kylin - The alley is dark, and it is easy enough to stay hidden from unwanted eyes, but you happen to be spotted by Nagta as you pass an alley, his infrared vision undoubtedly helping him to find you. He is followed by Camon, who is making no effort to keep a low profile, and is going on and on with questions about the woman in the picture. Nagta ignores him, continues with you. Camon has joined you as well. All three of you make your way to the Cantina.

- Athena - You step in and try to reason with the chief while Garmen gets the other one to let go of his arm. This goes on for several minutes, and your negotiations have managed to keep them from taking you to a holding cell, and a few more minutes of convincing may help get you out of this, but you don't get that opportunity. Half a dozen stormtroopers emerge from the door on the other side of the platform, and approach the ship. The leader speaks, but not to you,

You're under arrest for treason against the Empire. Chief Varros, you and your entire squad have been found guilty of sedition, and must face sentencing.

Without waiting for any sort of response from the guards, the stormtroopers mow them down with rifle fire, leaving all but one dead, and the last one is in bad shape. The lead trooper approaches you, apologizes for the inconvenience, makes a snyde comment about rebels, and walks away with his men.

- Ka - You cross the bridge. It creaks under your weight, but holds you. As you reach the other side, you recognize the object: your lightsaber. There is no mistake. The weapon matches yours down to the last detail, and it is laying there on the ground, undamaged. You hear a voice in the distance,

Ka.

It's Rava's voice, calling from the clearing up ahead.

- Ilon - Having offered to explain the situation to the guards, they await a response. Athena jumps in and begins to try and be reasonable. Her discussion with the guards goes on for several minutes before you see some stormtroopers approach the entrance to the Firespray. The lead trooper speaks,

You're under arrest for treason against the Empire. Chief Varros, you and your entire squad have been found guilty of sedition, and must face sentencing.

Having pronnounced undeniable guilt, the troopers open fire on the guards, who ironically, were caught completely off-guard. They are all killed or wounded in the first volley, and there is no chance to react to the troopers' attack. The leader approaches you, Rava, Garmen, and Athena, and apologizes for the mess, stating that rebels must be shown no mercy. He then walks away with his troops as they cart off the one surviving guard.

i grunt my distaste for the conversation and continue towards Kylin
i will continue to scan the area for trouble and ignor the pesky questions from Camon

I stare blankly at the bloody mess that once used to be my cargo bay.

I mutter under by breath
"I knew I never should have come back to this planet..."

Aloud I say to the others in the bay
"Can you help me get these bodies out of here, I'd like to lock down the ship before anything else can happen to it".

I begin to drag any guard bodies out of the ship, and then try to get eveyone else out so I can lock the ship.

I will help Ilon with the bodys then I will check them for anything useful if i find it I will take it from them.. then I will get back to KA and try to find a stretcher to put KA on then try to get him off the ship..

I will stay and wait for the Medic team for KA

I will tell everyone else "Go on with the mission we have to get it done but I have to make sure KA is ok before going anywhere or doing anything else"
