This is some general advice if you've been burned in a private or auction sale.
It may not be appropriate to post this info here, so I won't be offended if gets blown away.
Some genius on eBay a while back wouldn't ship me a guitar I paid for and the following worked
like a charm:
This is what you do if you haven't received your purchase after 30 Days:
#1) Get all your correspondence together as well as payment info.
#2) Locate the police station is the seller's jurisdiction, call them and state
that you want to press fraud charges. If the officer you speak to doesn't want
to do anything about it, then:
- Ask the officer for the phone number of the local prosecutor’s office. This
may ruffle his/her feathers and get the ball rolling.
- If the officer won't give you the prosecutor’s number; then find it yourself, make
the call and tell him/her that the police will not assist you (The police will help you out
after making that call).
#3) Eventually, you'll either receive the product(s) your purchased or your
money back.
#4) Someone is going to get arrested, fingerprinted, photographed and shall
receive a nice Criminal Record.
