a 486 would be ok. I just plan to put old OSes on it like IBM OS/2, Windows 1.01 and stuff like that. So I figure slower the better. Of course, not too slow, since I want to do 3.11 too.

I guess, why not use a linux dos emulator. Then you can install anything you want under it?

It will be a lot easier then geting all that hardware to work native.

I think a 486 would be the way to go....you might actually have some real problems getting Win 3.11 to work on a 286.
