So the big boys are finally out...and both were heartbreakingly short.

In anycase, which one did you like best?
Form vs Function
Asthetics vs Gameplay
Hell vs Heaven

Doom 3 for single player but half life for online but even right no I am having more fun ith COD:UO lol so my vote goes to doom 3 for the single player

I also think doom 3 looked better but half life had the Whole move anything going for it

I am basing my vote on engine alone

although I like the single player more in Doom3 as well

Multiplayer is far superior in HL2

Very Simple choice
Doom 3
It delivered everything it said it would, it looked damn pretty, and it didnt force me to use STEAM or its horrible activation process.

I enjoyed playing the game, I looked forward to playing the game, and I felt satisfied when I beat the game.

Half-life 2 did none of those things.

I voted purely on what I saw of both, since I own niether, and I liked what I saw from HL2, it made me actually want to play it for myself.

....actually there was a goat option but i forgot to save it before i posted the poll.

In any case, even if you hated both of them you must still be able to find some small difference between the two and therefore place one over the other.

If you wanted to you could re-phrase the question as "Which one did you hate the least"
