Ok, for Ghost: I just read the rules on upgrades and have discovered that I made a mistake with the sensor upgrade. I'll let you keep it, but the rest of the rolls will be according to the rules. 1 pip at a time.

There are two problems with the last post. The first is this.

- Garmen- Your work on the weapons systems comes to a close, when you suddenly feel somebody grab your arm. It's Cale. You turn to him with fire in your eyes as if you would bite off his hand. You see Rava approach from the other side and then you feel a tingling sensation throughout your entire body. There are little lights flying in your vision, which is becoming dark...

Would I not get a chance to react to either, A) Me being grabbed, or B) Someone attempting to Sun me. On top of that I should get to roll to resist the stun damage.
If you were doing it to move the story along, alright, but I wouldnt do that very often, it takes alot of fun out of the game.

The second problem is very Major and I want it changed immediately.

- Garmen - After coming to, you found yourself tied up. Ilon refused to let you work on his ship, and even furhter, to untie you unless you would help him to learn about computers, so you agreed. You were also unable to work on the ship unless Ilon was present. You managed to get some work done on the Firespray, improving the deflector control by 1 pip. Your main work was done on Sellia. You managed to find a droid body maker that works with organic materials. The work is top secret, according to the woman, but she is confident about it's use. Her name is Cray, but you cannot get in touch with her until you stop on Corellia.
Your periodical slices through the holonet have given you the unique ability: Electronic Information Gathering, which gives a +2 or 1D bonus to all information gathering done by slicing, based on the same rules as Cale's ability.

Let me list the major problems here.
1. My character is antisocial and xenophobic. I would not help ANYONE after I had been stunned and tied up. The actions you posted are out of character I would not have done them at all. As a matter of fact, the actions by Cale and Rava would have created a deep seated distrust and hatred for everyone in the group and would have insured me either A) leaving at the nearest juncture or B) attempting to break out, hack the ship and cause it to fly into a star.

2. I hope the skills you gave us didnt use the character points from the mission, because if so, I want mine back. I dont neccesarily want that skill and I would highly suggest that you dont try and upgrade characters for players without permission in the future if thats indeed what you were doing. If the skills we go from this were in addition to the character points we earned, thats fine.

Gray, what was your characters reasoning behind stunning me? Cause it sure seemed like you did some MetaGaming there, which would count as a penalty to your character.

First off, the abilities that I gave you came freely. I wanted to give everyone a more unique ability that went along with their characters in some way. If you don't want it then I will remove it from your character.

Secondly, I did make the post to further the story. I will give everyone the chance to redo the last post, and maybe think about what they did, and how things might have gone better. I understand that it seems unfair, so I am willing to conceed this point.

I still want to make this Hyperspace jump in one post, so if certain people are willing to abstain from attempting to stun another player (which also seems out of character for a Jedi), and find a more diplomatic solution, I will redo the post with the new choices. The new post will be final. I have deleted the last GM post.

TSB, please edit your post to avoid an argument. If you choose to fight at another time I don't care, but it complicates things at the moment.

Ghost, if TSB does not attempt to stun you, are you willing to teach Ilon (under the assumption that he will not allow you to modify his ship if you don't)?

I will wait for both of you to respond before I post.

I will not attempt to advance the story through this method in the future.

Minor Bumps in actions to move the story along are fine, it was more you deciding my response to Ilon's request that was the problem. As long as the actions you make are still in character for each character you make a move for its fine, just dont make it a habit. I could overlook the stun without any roll, thats not exactly Kosher, but you are the GM, just remember that you should post actions for characters that they wouldnt do on their own. Thank you for your response in this.

Thats fine about the extra ability, I accept it with no problems, I just wanted to make sure that wasnt my character point being spent. Sorry if I came off to harsh about that.

I would probably Teach Ilon as best as I could if it would gain my access to a computer with people grabbing at me or bothering me.

Ok. Glad to get this cleared up. I didn't intend to go out of character with you. I just figured that your character would have done anything to be allowed to play with the computer. So anti-social comes before computer lover.

Samurai,
until we get somewhere useful i will be not posting as i see it as useless (as my last move requests we evidently cancelled) as such feel free to move me until we actually get off the ship
Gentlemen, we got 20 calls about the David Hyde-Pierce incident. And as you know, one call equals a billion people, which means 20 billion people were offended by this

Sorry about that. The wording said
If it looks like there is going to be a fight i'm going break in and throw people away with no bias (as in just make sure they all scatter)

Since the action was quickly resolved I didn't interpret it as though it looked like there would be a fight.

i think we had different interpretations of events i mean hey it happens no big deal

for future reference i will see someone grabbing someone else as a hostile action and will react as such

i understand it was to move the story along thats cool

OK. Glad we got that cleared up. If everything goes smoothly you should be landing within the next two - three turns. It all depends on Ironfist.
