Very true, I did drive a P.O.S. The distinguishing difference is that I treated like a POS and knew it was a POS. I didnt attempt to make it look 'pretty' or 'cute' by putting a body kit on it.

Do they even make body kits for a aspire?
If they do, wow

No Im pretty sure they dont, but even if they did, I sure as hell wouldnt use it.

Without Engine Mods, body kits are you just trying to make your car go faster by making it look faster... Not exactly the best way to go about it.

No, they arent breasts, they're personalities, because its ok to like a girl for her personalities

1. Once again you failed to comprehend the entire post. When I said it was a honda, I was discussing Rice Rockets in General, Not your Neon. PAY ATTENTION TO THE THREAD PLEASE.

2. One I didnt imply that you called your neon gold and two, I would call it a piece of shit. I've driven several neons quite a bit and know for a fact that they are indeed pieces of shit. The older ones blow headgaskets and the new ones have more sensor problems than any other car on the road along with many other issues.

And i don't care what the freckin car books say or you "car educated" friends

Thats not even a proper sentence.

its still a piece of shit Honda.

I'm fairly certain he was referring to rice cars in general. Since Honda's are the most prevalent, I believe that's why he chose that make. And, technically, it's a Dodge. Small difference, but if we're gonna get into semantics here.......

The distinguishing difference is that I treated like a POS and knew it was a POS.

Once i never said i treated my car like it was gold. And two i wouldn't say it's a peice of shit. You don't have one so you have to right to to make an uneducated desition on whether it is or not a POS. And i don't care what the freckin car books say or you "car educated" friends

You might not think it's a POS, but Neons are known for being problematic. Areas of concern are the following: air bags, child seat, brakes, power assist, cruise control, suspension, and engine failure (especially, when it's placed in an Intrepid--big car + small motor = failure).

I think you mean to say "you don't have one so you have no right to make an uneducated guess." If so, this statement is erroneous. There are a multitude of ways that one can make a judgement on a product rather than just owning one. Talking to mechanics, checking my ODI link in the car thread, speaking on forums, and reading reviews are all a number of ways one could make an accurate assessment of car--and you wouldn't even have to drive the car.

For example, take the Intel Prescott CPU. Froming reading reviews on the web I know the following: it runs hot, runs slower clock for clock than a Northwood on average, doesn't overclock as well, has limited motherboard support, and a lack of 64bit extensions. I can safely conclude from this that it is not a processor I want to own.

If you have a newer than 2002 Neon, many of the common Neon problems might never pop up. If you're happy with your Neon, than all the more power to you. It's also your choice not to listen to said car books/people. However, you will need to listen to your wallet if what those car people/book is true.

EDIT:

Dam. Didn't even notice there was a 2nd page. Kinda makes my responce redudant. Ah well. At least it's not any different than the rest of my posts on Kalnet.

118Mph converts to 188Kph so I don't see how you got it to 210 unless your car doesn't have an electronic limiter...

i'm not trying to be rude Jay. But there are three different kinds of Neons, Plymith, Dodge and Chrystler, the new version is a Chrystler, Dodge stoped making them in 1999.

I'm not trying to be rude either.

However, www.dodge.ca says otherwise:

http://www.daimlerchrysler.ca/EN/DODGE/ ... DELS,.html

The 2005 Neon SX 2.0, SX 2.0 Sport, and SRT4 are all listed there.

And, as far as I can tell, there is the Chrysler / Dodge Neon: 2000 to 2006 and there is the Plymouth / Dodge Neon: 1995 - 1999.

EDIT: Actually, further research seems to suggest that they labelled 'em under all 3 labels. Meh. Neon is now just DC to me. MOPAR POWAR!!!11 ;)

They pulled the same marketing bullsh1t with the Intrepid.

I'm gonna go back to looking at trucks--I've spent 5 minutes more than I should have researching this econobox.

I just thought I would do some research since 210Kph sounded a little bit fast. But I would like to experience it for myself.
