I see Ka out of the side of my eye but never take my eyes off of what is going on in front of me and say "Ka we are almost there (Hoth) and we are going to need some weather gear, see if you can find anything for us (Jedi) I wanna keep an eye out for anything.. I dont know why but I have a weird feeling about this.." "When we get on the ground be ready for anything"
"...and if you don't like it, then you can MapQuest your way to Hell."

Noticing that Nagta found cold-weather gear, I walk over and search for a set in my size. Assuming I find something appropriate, I will attempt to familiarize myself with the gear, to maximize its benefit to me. And perhaps make some modifications with concealment in mind.

I mumble under my breath "Fine, if they don't want to send me landing data I guess I'll just do it myself"

I stand up out of my chair and shoulder my way through the people in the rapidly filling cockpit over to the Navigation console, on the way I speak up to my uninvited guests "what is this, a cockpit - or happy hour at the Mos Eisely cantina?"

I'll program in a safe landing path into Echo Base based on the sensor data, then return to my seat to help guide the ship in.

Trying to get over my chilling feelings about the astriod field I recieved the communication from Ilon, I type into the a wings computer system to find the co-ordinates for the landing location (If I find the co-ordinates in my computer database, I give them to Ilon. If I dont find the co-ordinates, I relay that communication to my other comrades in fighting to see weather or not they have the co-ordinates on hand)

Still keeping in the back of my head, my feelings about the astriod field, I stare down at the planet Hoth and gaze at the beauty and mystery of the planet that we will soon be landing down on.

I am going to move closer to Rava and make sure the captain of this heap gets us down in one piece.

Nagta - You hand Athena a set of clothes, and tell her, "cold.... you'll need those... "
Without taking your eyes off the others in the cargo hold you motion to her gun and whisper, "you.... dont trust them? Do..... you wish me to eliminate someone?"

She responds, "Thanks," and adds, "I trust some more then other but, there is nothing I can do about that. Right now please don't cause any problems. However we might need to eliminate later." And then she puts on the clothing.

Garmen - You convince Sellia that she should put up with the number crunching, and she responds to your comment about recompiling her with a witty remark about having a better perfomance time than all but the largest supercomputers in the galaxy. Aparently her personality programming is in perfect working order.

You wander around the cockpit, cramped as it is, looking for the ship's main computer.

Your perception is 4D: You roll 16.

Your search of the cockpit has not been in vain. You see the hatch that covers the ship's main computer. You also notice all of the lights that are on the control board. Several blue and green lights are blinking as the scanners operate with the navigational computer to extrapolate an approach vector. Just to the left of the computer hatch you see a red button with a black and yellow reflective boarder, it isn't marked in any other way.

Kylin - You follow the course laid in by your sensors, ignoring Ilon's request, and say, "R4 prepare for landing." The droid beeps an acknoledgement and fires up the repulsorlifts in preparation for landing. You enter the atmosphere, and several minutes later you see the remains of Echo Base. R4 whistles something that is displayed on your CMD. It doesn't look like the hanger is open.

Athena - You put on the clothes that Nagta gave you, thanking him while you do. You respond to his whisper, "I trust some more then other but, there is nothing I can do about that. Right now please don't cause any problems. However we might need to eliminate later." You try to keep track of everyone on board, a task that isn't particularly difficult in a ship this size. Garmen, the two Jedi, and Ilon are in the cockpit. Apparently it takes four people to land a ship that can be operated by one person. Cale has picked up some clothes and is inspecting them.

Rava - Noticing that Ka has entered the cockpit you request that he find some clothing appropriate to Hoth's weather, and follow up with, "I wanna keep an eye out for anything... I dont know why but I have a weird feeling about this... When we get on the ground be ready for anything." Ka stands right beside you, watching Ilon, and confirming his curse.

Cale - Noticing the cold-weather gear, you go to the crate and search for some clothing the appropriate size. You find some and begin to inspect it. There are several pockets, but all of them are visible and easily accessible. While checking out the lining of the coat, you discover that one of the threads under the left arm is loose.

Ilon - You mumble, "Fine, if they don't want to send me landing data I guess I'll just do it myself." You shove your way past the trio standing in front of the navigation console. After a monent of working with the computer you come up with an acceptable approach vector. You begin taking the ship down when you get a message from Camon, giving you the landing co-ordinates. kylin is just entering the atmosphere, and you can see the trail left by his X-Wing. He's heading to the same place you are.

Camon - You enter several commands into the computer, and it extrapolates the landing coordinates from the sensor data that it has gathered. You transmit them to Ilon, but it seems as though he has already set off toward the base. You think about the planet as you take your ship on a path similar to Ilon's. You can see Kylin's ship entering the atmosphere with a tail of fire.

Ka - You move closer to Rava, watching Ilon as he brings the Firespray toward the planet. You hear Camon's message over the Comm. The flight is going very smoothely, and it doesn't appear that there will be any trouble, as the sky over the landing coordinates is crystal clear. You see the storm system toward the horizon, but it doesn't appear to be a threat to the mission.

On Comm to other ships "Arming Proton Torpedo, Locking onto Bay doors, Fireing."

I am going to halt the X-Wing a save distance away from the doors, and Fire a Proton Torpedo at it.

Everything but the ship's computer is ignored.... At least conciously..

Without thinking about it, and still staring curiously around the cockpit, I wander towards the red button...

When I reach it, my left hand will reach for my datapad while my right punches the button...

After hitting it I will continuing wandering around aimlessley.

Shocked at this example of shoddy rebel workmanship, i look closer at the loose seam. If there is a sizable hole, i make sure nothing has accidentally slipped into the lining of the garment. I then ask a general question to everyone in the room. "Does anyone have a needle or some kind of clothing repair kit? I forgot to take the complimentary button repair kit at the last hotel I stayed at."

I'll follow the x-wing down, keeping a close eye on our approach vector. I glance at the two jedi over my shoulder, give an annoyed look, and then open the com:

- Kylin - You alert the rest of the team, "Arming Proton Torpedo, Locking onto Bay doors, Fireing." You stop your X-Wing about 100m from the hanger door. As your targeting computer locks onto the massive hanger door you hear a series of sound pulses that merge into a single high-pithced tone. The targeting display goes from yellow to red, and you fire.

This is a very easy shot.
Your Mech Skill is 2D+1, + the X-Wing's fire control = 4D+1
You Roll 28. You hit the door.

Torpedoes do 9D damage
You get 35
The Hanger door has a hull code of 2D Capital Scale, but it is already heavily damaged, with modifiers the door's defense roll is 15

The hanger door is slaged by the power of the torpedo, leaving only a pile of debris and molten metal at the base of a large hole. It is difficult to see the inside of the hanger, as the blast created a cloud of dust and snow that will take a moment to clear.

A moment later you get a very stong signal on your sensors.

- Nagta - You sit on the floor of the cargo hold, carefully watching those around you, but your mind is elsewhere. The only ones still in the cargo hold, are you, Athena, and Cale. You hear Athena's whisper, "Wow it takes four men toland a ship I am so impressed." Cale is inspecting his jacket, "Does anyone have a needle or some kind of clothing repair kit? I forgot to take the complimentary button repair kit at the last hotel I stayed at."

Your thoughts are settled on one topic, the Cathar merc, who killed your clansmen while taking slaves. You remember the fight as he escaped your home world, and you claimed one of his eyes with your hunting knife. He will not get away, not when the Alliance actively hunts down any slavers they can. And you will be there when they find him.

You suddenly hear a strange noise.

- Athena - You whiper to Nagta, "Wow it takes four men toland a ship I am so impressed." A moment later you hear Cale, who is inspecting his gear, "Does anyone have a needle or some kind of clothing repair kit? I forgot to take the complimentary button repair kit at the last hotel I stayed at." The cargo hold suddenly seems very roomy.

You suddenly hear a strange noise.

- Rava - You look around the crowded cockpit, and watch Garmen as he searches for something. You aren't sure what he's searching for, although he is odd, he is easy to read, and he seems to be searching for anything to satisfy his technological curiosity. You watch as he wanders aimlessly around the cockpit, and suddenly hits a red button, with a caution tape around it. A red light starts flashing on the control board in front of Ilon, and a small alarm begins to sound, but it doesn't sound like an emergency alarm.

- Garmen - You stare curiously around the cockpit, while meandering toward the red button. You reach for your datapad with your left hand, and the button with your right. You press the button, and a red light begins to blink on the contol board, and a strange alarm starts to ring. You continue to walk aimlessly around the cockpit.

- Cale - You inspect the hole in the jacket, but it is only large enough for your finger, and all you can pull out of it is insulation fiber. You ask the others in the cargo hold, "Does anyone have a needle or some kind of clothing repair kit? I forgot to take the complimentary button repair kit at the last hotel I stayed at."

A second later you hear a strange noise.

- Ilon - You guide the Firespray down on the same trajectory as the X-Wing, glance at the Jedi with a distinctly annoyed look, and then respond to Camon, "Thanks Camon, things look good from my point of view, this should be a cake walk." Just as you finish your comment, an alarm begins to sound, and a red light begins to flash on the control board. The light reads Emergency Locator Becon.

You know that the signal from the subspace tranceiver can be detected over fifty lightyears away with the standard power settings of a Firespray.

A second later you receive a transmission from Kylin, "Arming Proton Torpedo, Locking onto Bay doors, Fireing."

- Camon - You hear Ilon thanking you over the Comm. "Thanks Camon, things look good from my point of view, this should be a cake walk." You take the A-Wing down in formation with the Firespray. On the way down you pick up a very strong reading on your sensors. A moment later you get a message from Kylin, "Arming Proton Torpedo, Locking onto Bay doors, Fireing."

- Ka - You hear Rava ask you to get some clothing for both of you, and you do it. You go to the back of the cargo hold, next to Cale, and pick out several sets of gear the appropriate size. You hear Cale's remark,"Does anyone have a needle or some kind of clothing repair kit? I forgot to take the complimentary button repair kit at the last hotel I stayed at."

A moment later you hear a strange noise.

"R4, Identify signal Eminating from the FireSpray. Once complete, proceed with a full sensor sweep of the landing bay"

Com: "Kylin to Ilon, I am detecting A masive power emision from your veasel. Do you require any assistance?"

I am going to wait until the dust clears and then move ahead slow into the landing bay with full flood lights on.
