Worldcraft

Post by THE JEW (RaVeN) »

For those who have used it, do you work under the assumption that the level is floating in a void or that you're carving out of wood (ie. quake level style versus unreal level style)? I'm leaning towards the former, but I just wanted confirmation off of someone.

I assume the level is floating in the void. I can't even imagine how you would go about doing it the other way, unless the new version of Worldcraft is alot different from the old one.

no, the new one is not that much different, and yeah, it's like it's floating.

Thanks. It's actually not that hard to conceptualize. Instead of "gluing together a model", you're "whittling away at wood." 2 different methods, but similar results.
