Note for Samurai

With your current control abilites the energy you absorb must be dissipated almost immediatly. This means that you can't really "hold onto" it or direct how it is released, etc...
This means that although you could do things like absorb your own body heat, or the light comming at you, you would have to dissipate it immediatly, and it would make the effect kind of useless. When you gain more D in control then your ability to manipulate the energy once you have absorbed it will be higher.
As it is now the skill is most useful at absorbing the damage from energy attacks or radiation - things like that.

Yah, it's on fire.

Basically you will be closer and closer to free fall the closer you get to the water. Your shoot will be less and less useful the longer you fall. By the time you reach about 50 meters above the water you will be in free fall.

This would be about 7D damage when hitting the water. I think you could reduce this by doing a good dive though. Although that won't be too easy.

So im pretty much going to take minimum 7D damage when I hit the water regardless of what I do?

Unless I can somehow repair my chute...

Well, if you dive well, you could take a couple of D off of that. Either that or try to repair the shoot.

Or maybe Bendox could try to help you in some way.
