[DC] Alien Front Online

Picked this up today at EB Masonville. I played a little bit of it. It's pretty cool, but I can't get online with it. I'm not surprised, but I'm not sure if it's a problem with my internet settings, or that it was discontinued along with all of the DC's online community (most likely solution).

Anyways, it came with a microphone and adapter to plug into the controller, so bottom line is, cool game with nostalgic accessory.

Have you ever played it Paul? (or someone else with access to a DC)

No, but the reason it wont work online is because Sega cancelled all their online services last year sometime... Any "online" game you can get for DC is effectively useless now.

someone should put up hacked servers... maybe we should buy the rights from Sega. I WANT DC ONLINE!

I'm supprised that hacked servers don't exist already. Have you looked around the net for them?

I dont think that there is much demand for hacked servers...
Most people just ported from their DC over to an X-BOX or PS2.

Ported the game you mean? Is that actually possible - or do you have to have a mod chip or somthing like that.

If not, why dosen't Nik try that.
