DSL available where I live
Guess what guys I just found out I can now get DSL.
Only problem is I have a few things to think about now though.
1) extra for static IP
2)a bit slower
3)have to inform everyone of a e-mail change
these and the reliability with dsl is far greater and no cap.
I hate my cable

How often do they say that the IP will change? If its once every few months it might be worth not paying for the static and just updating the DNS whenever they swap IP's on you.
I'd say that if your cable hasnt been reliable then go for the swap. The hassle of switching would be well worth the rewards.

No, they arent breasts, they're personalities, because its ok to like a girl for her personalities
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man

On my router, I set the "maximum idle time before connection is dropped" to 24 hours (max allowed was 25.4 hours, 24 was simpler) so as long as something on my network accesses the internet within a day, I keep the same IP. I say try with a dynamic IP, and if it becomes a hassle, then switch. Also Execulink doesn't officially support routers, but they will help you with them.
