Personally, the idea of living in an oversized tripod does not appeal to me at all...
It makes for cool concept designs though.

Yeah, those were basically what I was describing to you. Living in an oversized tripod and living in a cantilever beam of a building wouldn't result in much of a difference for city dwellers (if at all).

To be totally honest, I would want to own it. Can you imagine the money that you would rake in with rent, utilities, professional sports, shopping, etc? I would only live there for a while as a tennant (until it got old) but I would have the entire top part as my own estate if I owned that behemoth.
