Operation

Post by Heidi18 »

Guess what, I got a sliver in my foot, and i pulled it out but it still felt like some was in there so i went to Emerg to get the rest out. Well i got two needles to numb my foot and then the doctor slit it open to get it out. Well guess what, the doctor couldn't find anything so he sent me home and told me if there is anything in my foot it'll come out on its own, if there's nothing i just stabed my muscle and it will hurt for a while. Well NO FUCK, you just split open the ball of my foot it FUCKIN HURTS LIKE HELL. And bleading all over the place. anyway just thought i'd tell ya guys about my day! HOw was yours?

Youch! ya getting a splinter in anything hurts. I got blood poisoning from mine. Just watch for red veins. I could trace mine half way up my arm.

Chuck Norris and Mr. T walked into a bar. The bar was instantly destroyed, as that level of awesome cannot be contained in one building.

I got a sliver from a school bench on Tuesday. It went in and the end broke off. I had to cut it out, because it was just working its way deeper into my hand. Anyway, it wasn't as bad as yours. Last summer, when I was working in a factory I got at least 40 metal slivers, which are no fun at all. I'd rather have 40 paper cuts than 40 metal slivers, but hey that's life.

The moral of this story is: slivers suck, and don't work in factories that don't meet health and safety regulations.

Maybe the doctor should have done an x-ray before cutting you open. Hope you feel better soon.

Man, that sucks. I hate incompetent Er doctors. I'll always remember that guy that poked at my eye with a drill for like 5 minuites and then sent me to a specialist. I am sure he did more harm than good.

Anyway, I hope you get better soon.

Why would you go to the ER for a sliver? I've had a sliver in my heel so deep that I had to dig it out with an exacto knife, but there was no need to go to the ER.

I had to go to the ER because when i was taking out the origanal sliver it broke in half in my foot, so the sliver was about 1.5 cm into my foot and i couldn't see it, and if i was to cut open my foot i would faint. So then there i would be lying on the ground with my food bleeding and someone might walk in and thing i was trying to kill myself. SO my dad sent me to the ER because he was getting tired of seeing me hobble around the house
although after coming home from the ER all i did all weekend was hobble anyways.
