The latest set - Mirrodin:
The Mirrodin expansion includes randomly inserted foil-finished premium cards in a limited, 306 all-new, black-bordered card set featuring the new card face introduced in the Core Set - Eighth Edition.

Interesting.

In any case, love it or hate it, it seems like the new look might be here to stay.

Yah, it seems pretty cool. Although it will make many local enchantments pretty useless.

Here is another one:

not realy, the way I understand it, if one pays only three when casting it, it acts just like a local inchantment. Howerver, if one pays six then it has the special abilities.

If one pays 3. Then its cast. It does nothing until it is equipped. You have to pay the equip cost to use the artifact on a creature, but if that creature dies, you can re-equip the artifact.

It will make alot of local enchantments usless..

Also, the new look is going to stay, which means Im never buying cards again, because they look like ass on a stick.

Interesting:

Artifact Image
Imprint - When Chrome Mox comes into play, you may remove a nonartifact, nonland card in your hand from the game. (The removed card is imprinted on this artifact.)
Image: Add one mana of any of the imprinted card's colors to your mana pool.
