Hacking Windows

Someone has asked me how to get around the login passwords in Windows 2000 (and no, it's not me, I run 95, 98, and xp on my machines)

Since windows is so easy to hack, I didn't think this would be a big problem to do. any suggestions?

any help is greatly appreciated. I'll be working on it today, and checking here for suggestions/solutions.

IF your at the comp, incert a 2000 cd and you can hack away my freind.

But you must be at the comp to do this, You cant do it over the internet.

Thats only for windows XP matt. Windows 2000 is more secure than windows XP, I dont really know of any way to get around the passwords in 2k.

It's easy to get around it's a word called Format

Try to reinstall say no to save system files. Maybe it will over write the pwl file if your lucky.

But I don't think it will.

If ya just wanna get at the files on the harddrive, pop in kenopix (yeah, the wrong spelling, but I'm getting too lazy in my old age to look up the proper one) and then access the files. Copy to removable medium and blackmail

agree with J on this. Hay its what i do when someone has fucked up windows so much that it wont boot and they want there files.

There is a new version out it you dont have a copy. Thats most likely the best thing to do. Good luck with it all.
